The dugcast – 1 November 2019

Welcome to the 1 November edition of the dugcast, the first for two weeks because I was away. This week I am chatting with Stewart Ward of The National, because the editor Callum is busy organising things for tomorrow’s big event in Glasgow – which we naturally discuss in the dugcast. We also chat about the upcoming General Election, and the importance of ensuring a pro-independence landslide.

  1. Whether or not Johnson is now in a ditch It’s time to ditch the UK.

Pity you have only got 6 mins but I am sure you will use it to great effect.

  2. Looking forward to the Rally in Glasgow. The wonderful YES City. Hope everyone who is able manages to go. There are great speakers organised. Independence is coming soon.

It will be good to hear all the speakers. On the Marches some can be missed depending on arrival time.

  3. perhaps Jackboot Carlot or Professor Two Jobs We Arra Peeple Tomkins should be offered a six minute slot on the platform to sell their precious Union to the Gathering; for ‘balance’, just like the BBC Ministry of Truth at Plantation Quay displays every waking minute.
Or Archie MacPherson can warn pensioners in the throng about losing their pensions, JK Rowling could offer marital advice….
It’s comin’ yet for a’ that.

  4. Good speeches by all at Freedom Square today. My top three not in order were: Valentina Servera Clavell; Paul Kavanagh; Humza Yousaf. Janey Godley had me in stitches laughing

Well done to the National and all involved for organising it in very short timescales.
